Ariana Grande to release new song 'yes, and?' this week

Sound the klaxon – pop princess Ariana Grande has announced that the first taste of her highly anticipated new music will be released this Friday!

The ‘thank u, next’ singer took to Instagram to reveal that ‘yes, and?’ will be released on January 12. This marks her first solo music since her 2020 album positions, although she has appeared on a handful of singles since then, including ‘Santa, Can’t You Hear Me’ with Kelly Clarkson and ‘Just Look Up’ with Kid Cudi.

Ariana has been teasing new music as of late, posting numerous photos from the recording studio with frequent collaborators Ilya and Max Martin. At the end of 2023, she declared ‘see you next year’ to her loyal fans, and now we only have a few more days to wait until we get to hear what she’s been busy working on!

Alongside working on her forthcoming seventh album, Ariana has also been busy filming the movie adaptation of hit musical Wicked, directed by Jon M. Chu. She will be starring as Glinda opposite Cynthia Erivo’s Elphaba, with the first part of the movie due for release on November 27, 2024 and part two releasing on November 26, 2025.
