Cardio workouts are La Dura's favorite exercise. "To tell you the truth, I eat everything I like and I do not diet much. I do drink a lot of water and I do cardio to stay in shape," she says. "Regular aerobic exercise provides three important sleep benefits: it helps you fall asleep faster, spend more time in deep sleep, and awaken less during the night," says Harvard Health. "In fact, exercise is the only known way for healthy adults to boost the amount of deep sleep they get — and deep sleep is essential for your body to renew and repair itself."

La Dura loves to relax in a nice hot bubble bath. "Taking baths has great physical and mental health benefits," says family medicine provider Amy Zack, MD. "One benefit is cleanliness. Bathing cleans your skin, helping you avoid irritation, inflammation and sores caused by dead skin cell accumulation. The bacterial and fungal load from contact in your environment can also accumulate, increasing the risk of infection."

La Dura enjoys delicious sushi for dinner, which experts say can be very healthy depending on what is ordered. "As in many cases, simplicity is best," says Maxine Smith, RD, LD. "A simple roll is very low in calories. It could be equal to a light meal, so you're talking about 300 calories or so. You can easily double that when you get into some of the fancier roles and larger supreme rolls."

La Dura loves swimming, which is a great form of cardio. "Swimming works the heart and lungs," says Harvard Health. "This trains the body to use oxygen more efficiently, which is generally reflected in declines in the resting heart rate and breathing rate. It uses the arms, the legs, and other muscle groups in between. This improves muscle strength and flexibility."

"My greatest weakness but also my greatest strength is perfectionism," La Dura says. "To my career, being a perfectionist person means being too demanding with myself and therefore I get tired, but in the end the result is worth it…. My perfect day without a doubt would not be a place, it would be surrounded by the people I love and who love me, no matter where I would be so happy and complete. With my husband by my side and seeing my little girl smile."
