Taraji P. Henson turned 50 on September 11, but had yet to reveal some photos from her birthday. Over the past few days, she did post some photos from her beach vacation and the festivities that took place on her birthday.
While most of us have bittersweet birthdays, starting the day happy and then crying late at night that we’re one year older, ‘Empire’ star Taraji P. Henson was all about embracing her new age. She revealed to her fans her hard work after embarking on a 30-day fitness plan to achieve a perfect beach body.
The 30-day challenge workouts consisted of intense cardio, battle ropes, bodyweight exercises, cable machine work, and more. Her trainer Mike T said that the star is “very disciplined in the gym,” and that she is the type of person that would work harder if she was told she can’t do something.
