Victor Kwesi Mensah, known professionally as Vic Mensa, is an American rapper, singer, songwriter, and record producer from Chicago, Illinois. Active in the music industry since 2009, Mensa’s early career began with his involvement in the group Kids These Days, which disbanded in May 2013. Following this, Mensa ventured into his solo career, releasing his debut mixtape, Innanetape. He is currently signed to Jay-Z’s Roc Nation label, among other music labels, and is also known by his other stage name, Vino.
A significant part of Mensa’s musical career is marked by his albums and collaborations. His debut studio album, The Autobiography, was released in July 2017, followed by a collaborative album, 93Punx, with the eponymous group in 2019.
